Through his story, he shares the rich history, spiritual impact, and enduring legacy of the church within the community.

It spotlights CD Enterprises, a trailblazing company that has created unique opportunities for local youth and shaped the entertainment scene for over three decades. Led by the visionary duo Darryll Brooks and Carol Kirkendall, CD Enterprises has brought some of the biggest names in entertainment to the District, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
“Reins of Resilience” is a compelling documentary short that uncovers the resilience, legacy, and impact of Black cowboys. Set in Houston, it highlights Myrtis Dightman Sr., the first Black cowboy to compete at the National Finals Rodeo, and Larry Callies, historian and founder of the Black Cowboy Museum. Through their stories, the film preserves history, challenges stereotypes, and honors a lasting legacy.
“Between Two Lines” is a short film that follows a young woman as she wrestles with the life-altering decision of whether to embrace motherhood. Seeking clarity, she turns to her trusted friend Bri for guidance while navigating the emotional and complex realities of an unexpected pregnancy.
